Mykonos Café opened in 2023 as a family-run café and bakery dedicated to sharing the genuine flavours of Greece and the Mediterranean with Christchurch. From the beginning, our goal has been to combine traditional recipes, hand-crafted baking, and warm hospitality in a space where everything feels honest and welcoming.
We prepare everything by hand — from our filo pastries and savoury pies to our signature desserts. Each recipe is made using fresh, quality ingredients and methods rooted in Mediterranean baking traditions. We bake in small batches throughout the day to ensure every item we serve is fresh and full of flavour.
Our café reflects the balance between coastal simplicity and the warmth of a working bakery. White walls, blue accents, and wooden finishes create a calm, inviting space where natural light and the smell of fresh baking set the tone for every visit.
